Greetings from Washington! 🙂
Today’s feature on Container Home Hub is another awesome exclusive from One-Way Construction! The last home they shared was very popular with our readers. So we were very excited to hear from Brandon at One-Way Construction again about another home they built. Now this one wasn’t made as a shipping container home even though it looks like it was. Nonetheless, this cabin is stunning!
Custom built in 2017, The Hideout Cabin is a modern escape on 2.5 private acres in the greater Leavenworth area. Located just off the Wenatchee River in Plain, Washington, the 1000 square foot home is respectfully placed amongst large Ponderosa Pines. The home sleeps six and is perfect for a family getaway, girls/guys weekend, or couples retreat. A fire pit, high speed internet, EV car charger & kid-friendly amenities also included.
The Hideout Cabin was designed by a young family with a passion for hospitality, community and adventure. From every room, enjoy floor-to-ceiling, energy efficient windows with unobstructed views of the mountains and stunning Ponderosa Pines. With spray foam insulation to keep it cozy in the cold, snowy winter. Central air plus a fireplace, a large open living, and dining kitchen area makes this cabin a great giveaway.
This modern style, wood framed cabin is located 30 min from Stevens Pass ski resort & 30 min from Leavenworth. Additional creature comforts:
- Smart 50″ TV with basic cable and Chromecast streaming
- Full bathroom with an oversized tub and rain shower
- Smart-home integrations with the door locks, heating/cooling system, and cookware
- Furnishings by Pendleton, GUS Modern, Blu Dot, Article, Faribault, WestElm, Floyd Detroit, etc.
The Hideout Cabin is located near the end of a dead-end paved road and across the street from the Wenatchee River (home to Steelhead and Trout!). The main road, and cabin driveway, are regularly plowed during the winter, however AWD vehicles are suggested during times of high snowfall.
So what do you think? Would you stay here?
